When you trace the history of the two churches that came together in 1995 to form Zion Church, you have over two hundred years of Christian ministry in the Didsbury area.
That says a lot about our heritage and what really matters to us today. God's message of love and forgiveness through the coming to earth of His Son Jesus Christ was the theme that moved our forefathers to establish churches in our area. It's still the central message we seek to share today. We are a very "imperfect" body of people from all kinds of histories and backgrounds. Our primary focus is to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and to encourage each other to be His followers. So follow the links. Get acquainted with us.
Just remember... there are some things a website can't do. It can't give you the sense of family that we share here at Zion. It can't convey the wonderful sound of a congregation singing worship songs together. It can't give you the sense of those hushed moments when God is present to encourage and to give new hope. You don't hear the children laughing and playing or adults and teens interacting in relevant learning settings. Some things you only discover by being here for yourself!
