Fellowship
Whether ZEMC has been your church family for years, or you have recently moved to the area, fellowship opportunities are key in family life.
Coffee and lunch fellowships happen frequently and we hope you are meeting new friends. Special events often include breakfasts, and of course we are excited about all the opportunities our larger facility can provide for wonderful banquets.
You might guess that ‘food’ is a common factor but that is not always so. Be watching for other avenues of ‘blessing one another’ like a fun golf tournament, or car rally, or campout, etc.
Perhaps you have some great ideas yourself. We want to hear from you regarding this significant area of congregational life.
Numerous funeral service groups are organized to serve lunch.
Showers for new brides or babies are often coordinated through the fellowship ministry or hosted by friends.
Our 55+ group of Keenagers enjoy occasional gatherings for an annual retreat at River’s Edge Camp, or a backyard garden party.
As you can see this is an area where many people share their gifts for the common good of all.
